As I watch #AACR2020 session "Racism and Racial Inequities in Cancer Research", watching black and indigenous leaders I've met and seen speak on diversifying clinical trials, academia, industry, etc... all I can do is keep pushing. #BlackinCancerBio #CancerBio please go watch
And honestly #CancerBio twitter as a whole should be tuned in to this virtual special session. Change in the field of cancer research shouldnt begin w #BlackinCancerBio or other underrepresented minority groups in this field. The weight of change should never be on the oppressed

Iโm #BlackinCancerBio currently investigating mechanisms involved in adaptative responses to ox stress in PCa which leads to long-term survival and drug resistance. My 2nd projects investigates the mechanism of how pro-inflammatory M1 macrophges promote tumorigenesis in PCa.
