Do you know what's kryptonite to a blind or visually impaired person? Name tags.
If people don't know you're legally blind, they assume you can read their name tag & therefore know their name.
Sorry, I can't see & I don't know your name.

I got in the hotel elevator & was wearing my golf attire & carrying my golf bag.
I got really close to the buttons to see them & pushed the lobby button & the bill of my hat hit the 7th floor button.
Guess we’re making multiple stops. 🤷♂️

So this new trend of taking photos in a very high quality drawing filter is legit messing with me. I honestly cannot tell the difference sometimes. The other day I kept staring at a picture not knowing if it was a filter or real life. I still don't know. #blindguyproblems
Whenever somebody sends me a message with an emoji, I have to screenshot it & magnify it just to see what it is. #BlindGuyProblems
At my Dad & my 1st blind golf tournament we went out to dinner with other blind golfers & their guides.
One of the guides said to me "It's really nice of you to guide your Dad on the course"
I stared at him, realized he was serious
Then said "I'm the blind one"

@smigeonofpigeon So I have a little eye trouble so reading is not always spot on. I read that twice as peeing. I was like wtfish Karen #BlindGuyProblems
Something dropped on the floor.
I asked my friend, Where is it?
They said, Right there.
I said, If I knew where "there" was I'd be able to drive.

Just figured out why I've been so tired lately. The Tylenol I take to get thru the day and the Tylenol PM I take to get to sleep at night are one and the same. I can't see the labels and just got asked why I have 2 half filled bottles. *sigh* #BlindGuyProblems
In the 2012 Canadian Blind Open I was pacing off a chip shot to see how far I wanted to hit it & where I wanted the ball to land
When I was walking back towards my Dad, I stepped on something
It was my golf ball...
I was assessed a 1-stroke penalty

Look, I’m mostly blind, but does Schoen keep putting one hand atop his head while drinking a bottle of water with the other??

One time @ DFW airport I was trying to find Gate 47 on my own.
I got a little lost & stumbled upon Gate 45.
I went up to the gate agent, told him I was legally blind & asked how far Gate 47 was.
He looked at me, thought about it & said "Like, how many steps?"

After building my PC a couple of weeks ago, I've realised that PC gaming on the couch in front of the TV just isn't gonna cut it, especially when you're almost blind like me.
Desk ordered, monitor, mounting arm and comfy chair are next on the list.

it was definitely a woman. As they cross the street and approach closer, I see that her nice beard was a face mask 🙄🙄🙄 #BlindGuyProblems
I was in a club in college where we'd have guest speakers
We once had a former FBI agent
At one point she pointed @ someone & asked them a question
It got quiet
My friend hit me & said she pointed @ you!
I didn't realize it & she said, wonder what drugs he's on

Being visually impaired I use Siri to dictate texts from time to time.
One time my friend sent me a text.
Dictating my text, I responded "You da man!"
A couple minutes later he responded, "I'm dumb?"
My text to him actually said "You're dumb man"
Siri hates me.
