@loyocameroon @OneYoungWorld @achaleke1 @GinaSondo @njikidjemi @unoy_peace @ghrfoundation @GlobalCtr @SFCG_ Bringing work back into prisons can benefit prisoners by teaching them job skills and filling unmet job needs. Helping them gain access to quality education will be a great bonus. That is why the #CS4Peace project is very important. #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation
In #Cameroon prisons are punitive & fail to rehabilitate, but targeting prisoners’ behavior, reducing prison populations offering job skills could reduce prisoner aggression & prevent recidivism & radicalization #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation @loyocameroon @ghrfoundation

@loyocameroon @OneYoungWorld @lilyokor @GlobalCtr @ghrfoundation @NinaForgwe @randzejude @unoy_peace Young people need to create social cohesion between inmates of different faith, tribe and community, because extremism thrives on division & hate. @MoghamoTv @Mafigold @MissLechiM @EuniceEnoch1 @winnyrease @Iyare4President @DjoukouoFelicit #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation

@loyocameroon @OneYoungWorld @lilyokor @GlobalCtr @ghrfoundation @NinaForgwe @randzejude @unoy_peace Young people need 2 take informed decisions, and it begins with having the right #information. Its not enough to hear about something, do your own research because a key element in countering violent extremism is information & communication #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation
@NinaForgwe @OneYoungWorld @ghrfoundation @njikidjemi @awanto_er @MelissaJuisi_S @achaleke1 @dibussi @Nnehadele011 Q6. Truthfully, all l kindness aside i will be scared or skeptical. Lol. But yes i can and i believe the work you do is going to push me to employ you. If you can produce amazing atogho like #CS4Peace inmates i don't see why not. #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation
@loyocameroon @OneYoungWorld @ghrfoundation @MelissaJuisi_S @njikidjemi @CNN @BBCBreaking @SFCG_ @NinaForgwe @awanto_er A6 - Toughest question yet 😏 I would employ a former inmate based on a recommendation from the Prison warden and also knowing more about who he/she is ( Origin, Family etc)
They're human, they made a mistake and they can change. #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation
Q 6 Would you employ a violent offender? If Yes, why? If No Why not? @OneYoungWorld @ghrfoundation @njikidjemi @awanto_er @MelissaJuisi_S @achaleke1 @dibussi @Nnehadele011 #WorldBookDay #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation
@awanto_er @OneYoungWorld @achaleke1 @GinaSondo @njikidjemi @unoy_peace @ghrfoundation @NinaForgwe @GlobalCtr @SFCG_ Very correct , this is what Local Youth Corner is doing through it Creative Skills For Peace Project; you could read more on this on https://t.co/3YPPvhgPl4 #CS4PeaceEducation #Books4Prisons
@loyocameroon @NinaForgwe @OneYoungWorld @achaleke1 @GinaSondo @unoy_peace @ghrfoundation @GlobalCtr @SFCG_ A4. Skills they can market. #CS4PeaceEducation #Books4Prisons
@loyocameroon @OneYoungWorld @lilyokor @GlobalCtr @ghrfoundation @NinaForgwe @randzejude @unoy_peace Q5. It all starts from being kind. Love for one another. That is the root for wanting to bring about change. So it starts from the community as small as breaking up fights between two or more people instead of cheering them on. Instill the seed #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation
@loyocameroon @OneYoungWorld @achaleke1 @GinaSondo @njikidjemi @unoy_peace @ghrfoundation @NinaForgwe @GlobalCtr @SFCG_ A4 I think that, to better rehabilitate and reintegrate violent offenders, they should have access to quality education, given productive skills that could help them out of prison and society should be welcoming and ready to interact with them. #Books4Prisons #CS4PeaceEducation.
