We are #BoringDads, but what does that mean? A "Boring Dad" is the quintessential provider, his life often seeming routine and predictable. Yet, within the mundanity, he's a sports enthusiast, cheering with predictable passion. Yelling at the TV regularly from the comfort of his recliner. Beer in hand, of course. His endless sports jokes might be predictable, but they never fail to elicit a smile or eye roll, serving as the family's reliable, yet embarrassing, comic relief. Despite his predictable demeanor, his love and care for his family are anything but mundane, anchoring them with steady presence.

For the first time in my life i’m happy to be throwing £35 in the bin. After a night spent at A&E with eldest and some fabulous NHS staff, it’s clear that this prevented more serious injuries following an unscheduled dismount. Happy to have been that boring & insistent Dad!
