#BOU2023 #BREAK3 4/6 After our pilot (2021) and first field season (2022) we installed 22 LIGHT and 22 DARK nest boxes and noted that around 64% of nestlings from our experiment managed to survive until day 12 after hatching!

#BOU2023 #BREAK3 3/6 We are introducing artificial light at night (led lights) in nest boxes used by collared flycatchers in the island of Gotland. We take morphological measurements and follow the nestlings to compare data from experimental (LIGHT) and control (DARK) groups.
