Really important thread. #C19Data
LYING WITH GRAPHS: SUNDAY EDITION
what addled & irresponsible state could this be w/ cases breaking out to new highs?
haven't they heard of masks/social distancing?
shouldn't we be scolding them?
over twice the rate of april!!!
who can this miscreant be?

I can’t speak to the study - but, why would positive statements about HCQ be banned? Serious question. Someone tell me how this isn’t a politically motivated hatchet job designed specifically to sew social discord rather than seek truth. #c19Data #StandUpForAmerica
New results from HCQ study in 539 Italian COVID-19 patients published in International Journal of Infectious Diseases.
-HCQ associated with 66% reduction in death.
-“Our results are remarkably similar to those shown by Arshad et al. [Henry Ford study].”

#C19Data / you decide.
just as predicted by the low latitudes northern hemisphere flu season, COV going into decline all across the US south. (and mexico)
of interest, the laggard in the decline seems to be Karenfornia, the state taking the most aggressive action to try to reduce covid.
huh.
#C19Data - this seems right.
Compared to Europe, the USA had a less pronounced peak in excess mortality but a longer duration. Most likely, this is related to seasonality, with the US seeing two "waves" superimposed - a sharp initial wave in the North/Midwest followed by a small wave in the South/West.

#C19Data - worth reading.
Daniel asserts this is true. Does anyone disagree? And whether you do or do not, what is the response re: effectiveness of masks? Genuine question (We can’t possibly analyze every new data point and assertion without crowd-sourcing it). #C19Data
These people have literally been wearing masks with as much discipline as humanly possible for quite some time https://t.co/7hqznUJRuM
This is why we should hold hearings in the House, Senate, or the administration - the facts are being obscured by media noise. This chart is another batch of #C19Data - worth examining... worth having multiple experts come testify... Why not? What are SwampPols afraid of?
Today, Sweden reports zero #COVID19 deaths and just 77 cases.
It has achieved something modelers thought impossible. It may also well avoid a resurgence at least in the short run.
All things, Alex, must fit the apocalyptic narrative. #C19Data
Seems as if Team Apocalypse is losing it. The random case surges in countries that “crushed the curve” or mandated masks, the way the Sunbelt has far fewer deaths than NY, the fact kids stubbornly refuse to get sick... reality is winning.
Team Apocalypse doesn’t like reality.
#C19data - worthy a read...
“People keep saying this is an unprecedented pandemic. It is not true. Humanity has had to deal with many pandemics, often more grave than this one. There seems to be an intention, a collective desire, to panic. It is not as big a disaster as we think.”

#C19Data - this is an interesting htpothesis we ought to dig into, whatever the result.
this has been my bet for some time: when this is all said and done, there is going to be a strong source contamination fecal/oral route infection pathway for covid19.
the pattern of infection suggests it quite strongly and the hard evidence is mounting.

"Thousands of restaurants have closed so far, and as many as 10% of independent operators could shut by year’s end as a result of the new coronavirus [and lockdowns]."

The lockdown recovery is stalling.
"Forecasts that total losses this year will be greater than in the last recession, when 20%, or roughly 4.5 million businesses, disappeared in just over a year."

Local and state governments are facing the largest revenue shortfalls in two decades due to extended lockdowns.

In Michigan, heart disease, stroke, COPD, and cancer all seem to be rapidly declining as a cause of death:

Louisiana’s #C19Data includes “100 migrant workers” living in a dormitory type residence during crawfish harvesting in South Louisiana but local officials say the workers are isolated from the rest of society
