I don't see much value in having a complaints portal if the complaint is just going to lie there without any action.

اندازہ کریں اس شہر پر میگا منصوبوں کے نام پر چھ ماہ میں چالیس سے پچاس ارب خرچ کیے گئے اور سب نے اپنی چونچیں گیلی کی ہیں لیکن ان اہم چیزوں پر توجہ نہیں دی گئی کیونکہ اس میں ان سب کی چونچ زیادہ گیلی نہیں ہوتی۔ یہ رینلنگز کئی ماہ سے ٹوٹی ہوئی ہے۔ کسی وقت حادثے کا سبب بن سکتی ہے۔
کسی کو پرواہ نہیں۔ نئے چیرمین بھی آتے ہی لمبے لمبے کاموں میں مصروف ہوگئے اور سیدھے کامران لاشاری کے ساتھ سملی ڈیم جا پہنچے جہاں اب پیسہ برباد کرنے کا نیا منصوبہ بن رہا ہے۔ سہیل صاحب کو بھی شہر کے ان “چھوٹے چھوٹے” ایشوز سے دلچپسی نہیں ہے۔ سنا ہے انہیں بڑے بڑے کاموں کے لیے لایا گیا ہے۔
دوسری طرف محمد علی رندھاوا شہر کو اس حالت میں چھوڑ کر ڈی جی پاسپورٹ جا کر لگے ہیں۔
زرا اس شہر کی حالت دیکھیں۔ یہ صرف چھوٹی سی مثال ہے۔ آپ کو شہر میں ایسی کئی توڑ پھوڑ والی سڑکیں، فٹ پاتھ ملیں گے۔ ریلنگ ٹوٹ چکی ہیں، فٹ پاتھ ٹوٹ چکے ہیں۔ ہر طرف گند اور گندگی کا راج ہے۔ جہاں کسی کو کسی پوچھ گچھ یا احتساب کا ڈر نہ ہو وہاں شہر ایسے دھیرے دھیرے برباد ہوتے ہیں۔
اس شہر میں سب باہر سے بابوز ہوں یا ٹھیکدار یا سیاستدان سب پیسہ کمانے آتے ہیں، اسے سرو کرنے نہیں آتے۔ اچھا خاصا شہر تھا دھیرے دھیرے سرکاری افسران کی نالائقی، لالچ اور سرکاری ٹھیکداروں کے ہاتھ برباد ہورہا ہے۔
