We provide casework assistance and host engagements to hear about the public’s experiences with USCIS so we can identify challenges and make operationally feasible recommendations to USCIS.
How #CISOmbudsman does it: After you submit a DHS Form 7001, Request for Case Assistance, we review your request to determine how to prioritize it. Our goal is to assign requests that fall under one of our priority issues to an analyst within 14 business days.

How #CISOmbudsman does it: We can help with expedite requests when there is an exceptional circumstance such as an eviction or an urgent medical need. To help us determine if an exceptional circumstance exists, provide evidence of your unique situation with your DHS Form 7001.
