I got some advice (from a man) to ask for obscene amounts of money when I'm on the fence deciding if an event/opportunity/etc is worth my time and effort, and WOW it has changed the game.
Proudest accomplishments for the 19/20 school year:
-3/5 courses with no additional cost to students (hooray for #OER & @QueensULibrary)
-#ungrading for the 1st time (deep gratitude to #comm385 students for trusting the process)
-showing that compassion & excellence can coexist
When we talk about great negotiating tools in #COMM385, this is not it.
However, we have a new example for when we talk about ethics in negotiations, so at least there’s that.

@ByDerekJames We had a "forum" at work today where the Commissioner of the Department gave us information in regards to what they are doing in response to this and we had a Q&A session. Gave me some #COMM385 vibes.
