Boeing's price $BA was falling again sharply this morning after China #ChinaTradeWar ordered its airlines to stop accepting new airline deliveries this morning, and to stop buying Boeing equipment and parts.
#FuturesContracts:
The volume in #CornFutures, #SoybeansFutures, and #WheatFutures was teetering between the May and July contracts overnight, as all the #GrainFutures are rolling over this week --- #DayTradingFutures either contract is fine for this week, but switch to the "N" contracts for #SwingTrading.
The volume in #CrudeOilFutures also switched to the June contract early this morning; all the #EnergyFutures have now rolled over to the "M" contracts, except for #NaturalGasFutures, which are not expected to rollover until next week.
#NewThisMorning:
The share price of Nvidia $NVDA was rising after committing $500 billion to build AI supercomputers entirely in the US at $TSMC's chip plants in Arizona, and President Trump this morning promised all permits will be expedited.

The #CME rolled over the #GrainsFutures this morning -- #CornFutures, #SoybeanMealFutures, and #SoybeanOilFutures to the December contracts and #WheatFutures to the September contract -- but only the volume in #SoybeanFutures has switched to the November contract. #Daytrading any contract is fine as the volume is still switching this week and the #Grains continue to #Rollover from the July contracts ahead of Friday's expiration, which is also #QuadrupleWitching.
The #CurrencyFutures and #MetalsFutures rallied and bond yields dropped, but the equity indices were fairly muted on this morning's monthly cooler-than-expected #RetailSales report, which only showed an increase last month of 0.1% when 0.3% was forecast. It's the second monthly decline in row, and April's sales were revised lower.
Today we hear from several FOMC officials #FedSpeak from late morning until the $13 billion 20-year #TreasuryBond #TreasuryAuction at 1:00pm ET.
Overnight we get #UKCPI at 2:00am ET.
