An organisational reform in #CPMFs undertaken without study of internal systems, processes & procedures through independent expert groups, or consultations with commanders at every level, but merely on advice of minority interest groups devoid of first-hand exposure at cutting edge level of Coys & Bns, would be misleading and adversely affect the work-culture, morale & efficiency of these Forces and prove more harmful than good for them, in the long run. To repair the harm already done by such advices & prevent future harm, such Bills may be recalled & single point entry into these Forces restored. The advisors not identifying themselves with the Org’ns & their glaring issues (e.g. stagnations at all levels, pending RRs & cadre reviews) don’t probably represent majority opinion. @PMO @HMO

Operational #co-ordination, is the prescribed duty of the Comdt (Ops) & DIG (Ops) posted in Range & Sector offices of all #CPMFs with backward linkage with MHA through their Force HQ, one or more of which are located in all states of the country. There’s hardly any further need to duplicate the effort by taking officers on deputation blocking career prospects of already stagnating cadre officers of these forces! @PMO @HMO

It would be fair&judicious in non-colonial era, to pass command of #CPMFs to offrs recruited & trained for the job, like in CoastGuard, rather than from other service, eating-up their career prospects. Deputations can be below unit level for exposure not to outsource the commend.
Sudden boom in intake of personnel in #CPMFs (MHA), presumably to ease the stagnation in career progression, would make them all due for next promotion simultaneously at all stages of career. The right approach would be regular intake to marginally accede the annual wastage rate.
Expeditious implementation of the MHA, GOI order regarding grant of NFU to members of the organised gp A services, reproduced below, would be instrumental to the raising the moral of senior cadre officers awaiting promotions in their cadre forces & hence efficiency of the #CPMFs.
The only way to allay the stagnation acceding a decade in certain rank in #CPMFs would be to man the entire cadre by the #indigenous personnel and implement NFU beyond certain years of stagnation in each rank in absence of avenues for sidestepping or rehabilitation at young age.
There's a dire need to do something urgent regarding the stagnation being faced by officers of CAPFs, languishing in the same rank since 12 years. @crpfindia

#CPMFs deployed in Left Wing Extremism infected areas, North East, J & K and other operationally hyperactive areas, may be considered for 20 days’ leave every quarter, breaking 60 days’ EL into 3 parts & enhancing CL from 15 to 20 days, to effectively reduce job related stress.
Without holding anything against the officers concerned, some of whom have been excellent officers the #CPMFs could have, the most suitable & rightful officers to command these forces would be the ones recruited into these forces with wider command exposure in all theatres of Op.
