Intriguing findings in ARIC study: P-wave indices associated w/ dementia risk. E.g. prolonged P‐wave duration, HR=1.60 (1.42-1.8), independent of multivars, stroke, AF. Any implications for #CvPrev? #CVDEpi #CVDEpidemiology

Framingham Heart Study- new electronic cohort embedded. Enrollment= 76%; adherence to e-surveys 85% at baseline and 59% at 3 months; 42% for digital BP and 76% for HR uploads. Interesting to compare these figures w/other e-cohorts. #cvPrev #cvdEpi https://t.co/I3LKHGHPC2

BP increases by ~ 0.6 mmHg/year age in adults in the US. BP does not increase with age in non-westernized populations. Cross-sectional study. Evidence seems consistent w/ #CVDEpi pioneer studies. #cvPrev https://t.co/rQvjRfwr0d
