Perhaps you might regard it as reassuring that many will, on this assessment, pay less than ยฃ100 a month more. But it's the shorter bars to the right of the chart that are more worrying. Eg half a million will have to pay between ยฃ500 and ยฃ749 more per month. How will they cope?
