Second time this year at @AMCTheatres at @shopmetreon and the #Captiview doesn’t work. Once you miss the first few mins of the movie it feels like I already missed out. This is why I don’t go to the movies because it’s #Inaccessible for #Deaf. Please upgrade equipment🙏

.@AMCTheatres I'm disappointed. I saw a movie using your #CaptiView today. I was shocked to see that ENTIRE phrases, background noises, and music were missing from the captions. Be an example to the industry and stand up for access. #Equalaccess #everywordcounts #nomorecraptions

@arkaeya @Dolby It would be interesting to find out who is legally accountable for ensuring fully functional captioning #accessibility for #deaf moviegoers as required per the law. The movie theaters? The manufacturer? Both? #CaptiView

#Deaf moviegoers need to complain that closed #captioning devices like #CaptiView are insufficient. They fail too many times, where hearing moviegoers rarely have problems. It's essentially fake #accessibility. Open #captions are what works for the deaf. https://t.co/5IGZbZFNGK

If #CaptiView systems fit in the cupholder, how is it full #accessibility if a bunch of #DeafHoH friends go to a movie and want popcorn and drinks—do they have to balance the snacks somehow or sit in every other seat? #cinemacaptions
