@komfothealth Reading about honour killing almost made me run mad. I can’t wait for a world where women and girls are truly free
#careorcontroldocumentary
Please, do proper research and speak to qualified HCPs. Don’t take pills or undergo procedures you know nothing about because you want to abort. Your health matters
@komforthealth is here for you
And please, don’t forget:
POST-ABORTION CARE IS LEGAL.

@komfothealth I watched Zikoko’s Care or Control documentary, and it really made me reflect on how society treats women’s reproductive choices.
Are we truly caring for women, or are we controlling them?
We need more honest conversations, less stigma, and compassion.

@komfothealth It’ll take a lot to topple the Nigerian system but it has to be done #careorcontroldocumentary

@komfothealth Victory's story is unique especially because of the support she received from home. Most Nigerian girls dare not speak about being raped with a parent because that would compound their issues and trauma. #careorcontroldocumentary
@komfothealth I think one of the saddest parts of Victory's story was the discrimination she faced in the hands of the person that provided the abortion. That wasn't health'care' at all. At least she had the support of her mother. #careorcontroldocumentary
@komfothealth For me, Victory’s story was very sad & heartwarming because it’s rare to have such parental support in an African home.
However, it’s sad how the society treats rape victims. No matter the love at home, the criticism from outside can be harmful.
