@komfothealth Victory's story is unique especially because of the support she received from home. Most Nigerian girls dare not speak about being raped with a parent because that would compound their issues and trauma. #careorcontroldocumentary
@komfothealth I think one of the saddest parts of Victory's story was the discrimination she faced in the hands of the person that provided the abortion. That wasn't health'care' at all. At least she had the support of her mother. #careorcontroldocumentary
@komfothealth For me, Victory’s story was very sad & heartwarming because it’s rare to have such parental support in an African home.
However, it’s sad how the society treats rape victims. No matter the love at home, the criticism from outside can be harmful.
