I told you from the first: if we show up, we can #ChangeTheDirection. The black pill guys were wrong. They always are, because God remains sovereign on His throne.
Inaction is complicity with His enemies. Perseverance will be rewarded. The Bible tells me so.
Along with the ongoing work of the Great Commission and evangelizing the nations, some momentum to celebrate in the SBC.
1. Back-to-back presidential elections resulted in strong leadership that repudiated the transformational efforts of poor and subversive leadership that came before them.
2. The ERLC has cut ties with the Soros-funded open-borders org, the Evangelical Immigration Table. And the soft progressive leadership of Brent Leatherwood (aka Russell Moore 2.0) was ended.
3. The ERLC also pledged to stop taking grants from other secular- left NGOs, like Buddhist Pierre Omidyarβs Democracy Fund.
4. The false narrative that there was an abuse crisis in the SBC or that any national leaders tried to cover up abuse has been fully repudiated. Both presidential candidates acknowledged that we do not have an abuse crisis. Efforts to dismantle the conservative resurgence through this issue appear to have been roundly defeated, praise God.
These are very good foundations to build from. And after a season of much needed confrontation, I am hopeful that we are now entering a season of reform and rebuilding.

#SBC25 Are we people of the book or not? If we are, this must be addressed. @SBCExecComm, What are we doing? We are a bottom-up convention, and we are fighting to #ChangeTheDirection. It is time to listen to the messengers, the CP suffers because leadership will not listen.
I've been listening to many pre-SBC podcasts, and there seems to be a broad consensus (outside of NAMB circles and Jeff Iorg) that the Credentials Committee messed up with NewSpring Church. Everyone seems grateful that @manorjuan plans to reintroduce the Law Amendment. I predict it will easily pass this time.
But here is my question going into the SBC. If there is such a consensus about NewSpring, what about Clovis Hills Church? I want to know from SBC leaders, should a church that employs 4 women pastors like this be disfellowshipped by the Credentials Committee going forward?
This is a very important question because Clovis Hills Church is much more involved in SBC life than NewSpring Church ever was. Clovis Hills has served as a Send training center, with their lead pastor teaching with NAMB to train church planters. The church is also very involved in California SBC life.
If we're going to vote on the Law Amendment, people deserve to know where SBC leaders stand on a case like this. It's not a complicated question, yet overwhelmingly I've been met with silence.
It seems to me that many have the perspective of, "We'll just pass Law and then deal with this later." I'm tired of business in the SBC being done that way. That is not forthright and direct.
We're going to keep fighting about this *forever* until leaders in the SBC will be direct and specific about what they actually think on critical issues like women pastors. Instead, I hear them hem and haw and hedge their bets, waiting to see how things shake out.

Well written and true as I have seen in observing @ERLC railing against any who would try to seek out explanation or hold them accountable to what its role is to messengers. Realign, or defund and abolish. The sad thing is they they may not learn. #SBC25 #ChangeTheDirection
