In recent weeks, we've seen numerous people stabbed, robbed, beaten, set on fire on Chicago public transit.
Add throw onto the tracks while a train is coming into the station now.
Public transit needs an urgent plan of action to address safety concerns that have been pervasive since 2020.
Mayor Johnson and Gov JB don't need or want Trump’s help. They say Chicago is very safe. Mind you this is in the heart of downtown during the holidays in cold weather.
I grew up on the 4100 W. Block of Gladys. Trying to imagine elementary kids in the 70’s beating up an adult, let alone a mom and her children.
We had ‘hood values that dictated respecting adults. You said hello and stopped the jump rope when they passed by.

There was a shooting today at Walmart on 95th and Western. Two gunmen opened fire outside, then ran into Walmart and kept shooting inside. This is my Walmart , I go there all the time. And this is what we live with.

Broke Chicago paid to have Mayor Brandon Johnson’s name celebrated via drones and fireworks at the Taste of Chicago.
This is a taxpayer funded event. Besides being wholly obnoxious and tone deaf, this should be an illegal and clearly improper use of tax dollars.
