For the SGR project to reach its set target, it means ramping up the capacity three times... This means spending more, increase in debts. For this project to pay its debts it would need to run more than 50 trains a day. #ChineseCapture
Contrary to what we were told that #SGR has a capacity of 22m tonnes, they actually installed a capacity of 8m tonnes. It is not a commercially viable project. The loans will be paid by #Kenya tax payers. #ChineseCapture
