Another morning, another refusal by state and faith agencies to open (or permit access to) closed records concerning #forcedadoption. I wonder how many floods, fires and other localised natural disasters will occur before what remains becomes open to future researchers?

Today's #ArchiveGlossary is #ClosedRecords. Here is an example of some of ours. We have a record of our former pupils, but access is restricted depending on a number of factors. However, despite this, they are an invaluable source of info & we will continue to keep them safe!
