@indepso Well, I am not holding #HIPEC for M1 per of #CRC origem, anyway. After -ve results from #PRODIGE7 #COLOPEC and #PROPHILOCHIP, I can suppose #HIPEC does not work in #CRC. Most important, #CRS itself works a lot! I am a surgeon; this is enough for me. @sbco_oficial @SPeritoneum

The #COLOPEC trial aimed to exclude metastatic patients, but failed to do so.
An intention-to-treat analysis compared 100 HIPEC patients vs 102 Chemo patients.
Of 100 HIPEC patients, 13 didn't receive HIPEC because 12 already had metastatic disease (shouldn't be included)
Regarding #COLOPEC results (published at @LancetGastroHep) we would like to discuss another possible interpretation.
Prophylactic #HIPEC with oxaliplatin might be of benefit in T4 and perforated colon cancer.
