Going through one of my last #Color64 #BBS backups & came across the partition help file for the #ICTDataChief that I ran the #C64 BBS on, my buddy found this ad for it. Great times back in those BBS days. "Elite Warez" was for all the 0 day old PD stuff, Oregon Trail Ultimate ;)

@CommodoreLad They were so great for running #Color64 BBS. Pre-load all the system overlays into the RAM Disk and then you had essentially instant load times going from each area of the BBS, pre-HD days. Still have my 1750 & expanded 1764, nice find! :)

@AmigaL0ve Loaf of bread? HAH! 20Mb ICT Data Chief for my C64. Ran my #Color64 BBS off it in the late 80s. Sold it to another SysOp in Phoenix.

@duhproject Hah... I remember adding the bank of chips going to upgrade the 256kb on my 1764 RAM Expansion to 512kb thinking I could never load it up with enough door games on the BBS. #Color64

Calling Cottonwood BBS for the first time via my Amiga 1000, booting from the same WB1.3 floppy but connecting via telnet thanks to the brilliant @paulrickards #Wifi232 modem and Color Term for the full #PETSCII experience of #Color64 @AndrewWiskow @duhproject #OldSchool

@thedevilbunny @amigosretro Great memories guys. Definitely spent many hours playing & installing door games on #Color64 based BBS' on the #C64 that I ran or was a CoSysop on. I still enjoy a little #Empire domination via telnet & #CottonwoodBBS
