Finally, we have reopened our school library 😀 We celebrated with the relaunch of our after school book club. Chilled out, relaxed, comfy reading at its best with a book blether, book recommendations and a book wave at the end. Amazing!

After weeks of interviewing librarians, unpacking boxes, organising books, ordering and labelling new books, shopping for covers, pillows and comfy seating areas and rebuilding the whole area post lockdown, our school library is now open for business 😀📚

A4. Simple things can set the tone (we used fairy lights & blankets/cushions), discuss rules for talk before you begin, hot chocolate, make it cosy, close the door to the classroom if this helps. Nothing beats building relationships to make them feel safe/heard. #OURfPBookBlether
