๐ HYPER-AI at Cloud Computing 2026: Hyper-CC Special Track
Last week, the Hyper-CC Special Track on Hyper-Distributed Systems and Applications for the #ComputingContinuum took place at #CloudComputing 2026 in Lisbon.
HYPER-AI was represented at the event by our partner Herodotos Herodotou (@CyUniTech), contributing to discussions on the future of hyper-distributed computing across the #CloudEdgeIoT continuum.
๐ก A key takeaway from the presentations was the convergence of three complementary directions:
โข Platform-agnostic modelling of resources and applications
โข Lifecycle management of heterogeneous nodes
โข Simulation-based evaluation of scheduling and resource allocation policies
Together, these approaches point towards a more structured, scalable, and experimentally grounded vision of hyper-distributed systems, moving from fragmented solutions to more cohesive and interoperable infrastructures.
