Following my last successful contract freeing the #EverGiven in Suez, I’ve just started work on the new tunnel between #Poole and the #IsleofWight. This will carry both road and rail traffic as part of Boris’s #ConnectingBritain project. Completion is due by May 2023. #somehope
Each year of delay costs the North and Midlands £4.9bn.
We need to see the hybrid bills for HS2 East in Parliament by 2023, and work can also begin on sections that do not require legislation.
