I recognize that meaningful educational interventions and awarding scholarships to deserving students will build a virile KIK and promising generational leaders.
Therefore, I take into cognizance scholarships for tertiary students to help underprivileged students who are natives or indigenes of KIK with funding to support and facilitate their educational journey.
To fast-track implementation, I have directed the Scholarship Committee to invite applications from interested individuals for the 2024/2025 edition of the scheme.

To mark my one year anniversary as Member, House of Representatives, representing Kankia/Ingawa/ Kusada Federal Constituency, I have the seldom privilege and honor to systematize A 2-Day Skills Acquisition Program in my constituency to serve as way of thanking the Almighty.
The program, as designed and tailored, has empowered over 300 men and women drawn from the constituency. The program's goals include reducing crime rates and improve food security in my constituency, and the state in general.
The program has offered 16 skills, including:
-Arable Crop Production
-Sweet Potatoes Production
-Fruit Production
-Vegetable Production
-Poultry Production
-Procedure for Broiler Production
-Procedure for Layer Production
-Rabbit Production
-Beekeeping and Insects Production
-Grass-cutter and Guinea Pigs Production
-Animal Waste Recycling
Upon completion yesterday, trainees have been given stipends-fifty thousand naira (50,000) each for startup. Meanwhile, 51 micro businesses were also supported for business expansion and retention.
While addressing the guests and participants during the flag off of the workshop, I emphasized that it will help in skilling up KIK youths and promote their employability beyond academic certificates. Adding that Skill Acquisition programs can help promote economic growth, increase productivity, and self-employment. They can also help reduce poverty and crime rates, and develop a positive attitude towards work.
It could be vividly recalled during my campaign, I promised the good people of Kankia/Ingawa/Kusada of human capital development to enable our youths compete anywhere in the world.
My hope, in-line with Nigerian Skill Qualification Framework, is aimed at bridging the gap in human development from 23% to 46% by 2030, in sha Allah
