HASC #SeaPower subcommittee hearing: @RepSarahElfreth asked a great question about prepositioning for in-theater maintenance & battle damage repair in the Pacific. Navy Admiral Pitts took question for the record for OPNAV N4 to answer since they in charge of Contested Logistics & Repair, but did mentiontion that Subtenders in theater can do Maintenance, munition reload and Battle Damage Repair. USMC mentioned new Global Prepositioning Network of both ashore & afloat equipment, to be ready to transition to conflict. Hope Congress and journalists pull the string on these basic "wavetop" answers for much needed details. @HASCRepublicans @HASCDemocrats @DODWeaponsWonk @cgberube @samlagrone @MalShelbourne @HMongilio @Aaron_MatthewIL @CavasShips @CSSProvision
