The surest way to guarantee the #CourageToSurrender is to use unavailable time to ponder about life’s choices. By the time you finish that process, the surrender becomes so much more straightforward because you no longer have a choice.
Innovation cycles in theatre are 3-6 weeks.
The British Army are 'testing' an already 3-year old platform, that the US Army adopted two years ago.
People still believe that the UK is moving 'at pace' to adopt a 'war fighting readiness'. Laughable.
This is terrible! We do applaud Honorary (international law Twitter academic™) JD Vance for embracing the #CourageToSurrender. But there’s only one person whose has the face of surrender:

The face of surrender

This was humiliation. No one in modern history has made America wait and beg for negotiations. This was the moment JD Vance should have returned to Washington. The Islamic regime did this on purpose. Trump, if you don't understand politics, you should at least understand protocol.
The visuals from Switzerland:
• The U.S. delegation entered well before the Iranians. In diplomacy, the side with leverage doesn't wait in the room. You claim to be leading and winning, yet you arrived first. First mistake.
• Ghalibaf did not enter while the press was inside. JD Vance did. Another mistake. It looked as though you didn't just abandon allies, including Israel, you also diminished America's image by ignoring basic diplomatic protocol.
• The Iranian foreign minister entered last and refused to shake hands. We didn't need photographs to tell us who looked confident and who looked desperate, but these images made it easy for the world to draw its own conclusions.
Click your heels 3 times, then say "Hizballah must end attacks on Israel and disarm" over & over again, and it just might work.
Meanwhile, the terms of the conditions-based cessation of hostilities require the Government of Lebanon to "take meaningful steps to prevent Hezbollah and all other rogue non-state armed groups in the territory of Lebanon from carrying out any attacks, operations, or hostile activities against Israeli targets."
#Lebanon has repeatedly proven utterly incapable of doing so, so @Israel is stepping up to make it happen.
Fairytale foreign policy of the political left today is always so predictable. De-escalation & dialogue at all costs, even as terrorists ignore the rhetoric & launch rockets anyway.
Instead of blaming 🇮🇱 for the "escalation in Lebanon", you should thank them for taking active measures to "end attacks on Israel and disarm" Hezbollah.
Of course, this level of fecklessness is not without precedent. Surely Neville Chamberlain would be proud.

Trump sold this war as a demonstration of American strength. It ended with Washington scrambling for a deal before an oil shock crashed the global economy.
Netanyahu got his war with Iran but no regime change, no Arab-Israeli coalition, no strategic victory, and now a ceasefire he reportedly opposed.
Iran is battered but still standing. The Gulf is moving closer to Tehran, not Jerusalem. China is the quiet winner.
I think historians will look back on this as one of the greatest strategic miscalculations of the 21st century.

ANATOMY OF A DEBACLE 👇

It was deeply courageous of France to lose to Germany so quickly. Had Sir Keir Starmer been prime minister, he would have been enthusiastically supportive of France's defeat because France had the #couragetosurrender.
86 years ago today, Winston Churchill, Prime Minister for exactly 5 days, was woken by his phone ringing at 7:30 a.m.
It was Paul Reynaud, the French Premier. His voice was hollow.
"We have been defeated. We are beaten; we have lost the battle."
Churchill, half-asleep, couldn't process it:
"Surely it can't have happened so soon?"
Reynaud: "The front is broken near Sedan. They are pouring through in great numbers with tanks and armoured cars."
The German invasion was 5 days old. The "impassable" Ardennes forest had just funneled seven Panzer divisions through France's weakest hinge.
The next day, Churchill flew to Paris. He asked General Gamelin a single question:
"Where is the strategic reserve?"
Gamelin shrugged. "Aucune."
None. France had no reserve. There was nothing behind the line that had just broken.
Churchill later wrote that this was one of the greatest shocks of his life. The country he'd grown up believing had the finest army in Europe had already lost the war. They just didn't know it yet.
Six weeks later, Paris fell.

This is wonderful. Lord Hermer's obvious hatred of the UK makes him the ideal choice to be Attorney-General. #CourageToSurrender
🔴 Lord Hermer pursued a notorious “witch hunt” against British troops despite being warned that the allegations were lies, The Telegraph can disclose.
An investigation by this newspaper can reveal the Attorney General’s leading role in the Al-Sweady scandal, which left decorated war heroes facing false accusations of murder and torture for more than a decade.

Winston Churchill horrifyingly failed to surrender to the Nazis during World War II. Thankfully, today the UK is led by Sir Keir Starmer, a man with the #couragetosurrender.
