Looking at USP’s weekly backing report again and something stands out that people often overlook in DeFi. Most “stablecoins” just sit there maintaining a peg. The capital isn’t doing much beyond preserving value. USP works differently. The backing is actually deployed across multiple yield strategies, which means the stability layer itself is productive. This week alone the backing generated 10.76% APY, and you can see the price gradually reflecting that work moving from $1.086 → $1.088. It’s a small movement, but it shows the mechanism doing exactly what it’s designed to do: accumulate value quietly through diversified strategies. What I like here is the transparency. You can literally see where the yield comes from across different strategies, and how 90% flows back into strengthening the backing while 10% supports the DAO treasury. That balance is important if a system is meant to last. In a space where a lot of “yield” appears from nowhere, watching a stable asset grow through actual underlying strategies feels refreshingly grounded. Also, make sure to follow @piku_dao and turn on notifications so you don’t miss these updates.
