With a night to think on it, here are my thoughts: That was embarrassing. It’s embarrassing and disgusting to be down 2-0 to this team. They, so far, have just wanted it more. There is a very good chance we do in fact lose this series…however… Idk how many times we have to go through this before realizing these guys have fight. They have pedigree. They are straight up just the better team. Down 3-2 to bucks, down 3-2 to Philly with it looking like the season was ending with just minutes left, down 3-0 to Miami. Every time, back against the wall, this core showed heart and grit and fought back. (Im still of the opinion they become the first team to complete 3-0 comeback if g*** v****** doesn’t commit that war crime on Tatum). I’m still confident they got us. If they come out in game 3 and stomp the breaks off these Knicks as they have through 3 quarters these first two games, I can guarantee they win the series. I’ll be with yall if they come out flat and we get late spring tour dates from Tatum again. I just feel we’ve been down this road one too many times. I understand we can only go off how they have looked but we know this core can do things not many teams can. I think last years run made us forget that. That’s how I feel.
