#CubaInfluence In June 2023, then-Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi visited Cuba and met with Dictator @DiazCanelB. Raisi said of the visit that "Relations between Iran and Cuba are getting stronger every day.". The same Raisi who said he fully supported the Hamas terrorists in their bloody attack on Israel. #CubaInfluence 🇨🇺 🇺🇸 The Cuban regime has maintained a systematic strategy of “political warfare” to spread communist and anti-American ideas in the United States since 1959. Lacking military power, it uses propaganda, disinformation, and covert operations inspired by Soviet techniques. This apparatus, coordinated by the Cuban Communist Party @PartidoPCC and the Ministry of the Interior, has successfully infiltrated academic, political, and media institutions, continuously and dangerously influencing the opinion of the American people. Its tools include state media like Prensa Latina and Granma, organizations such as ICAP that indoctrinate young Americans, and the use of culture (film, sports) and intellectual figures. Cuba sends academics to the U.S. through the Center for Studies on North America to shape perceptions, and has even infiltrated universities. The ongoing designation of Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism—reinforced by ties with governments like Venezuela and China, and its espionage bases on the island—underscores that these subversive activities persist into the 21st century, representing an ideological threat that exploits social divisions. Its danger is not military, but lies in its ability to undermine the U.S. democratic system from within, fostering hatred and polarization in American society through the sponsorship of groups that promote chaos and destabilization in the country.
