Last night, the government confirmed that the Domestic Abuse Bill will be amended so that children affected by domestic abuse will be recognised as victims in their own right.

Children do not only ‘witness’ abuse, they experience it as this video so powerfully shows.
Today the govt has committed to recognise children as victims in the #DABill. We have campaigned with @actnforchildren and many others in VAWG & children’s sectors to achieve this change.
