As an $XRP enthusiast I can’t help but speak about this model emerging from ripples ODL product with exchanges around the world.
Foreign exchange swaps have always been directly in line to be disrupted by crypto technology . I believe this to be a major, if not the biggest, use-case for crypto’s product market fit.
However, as the crypto exchanges transition into foreign exchange marketplaces, ripples strategy is always one step ahead, bringing this marketplace to the decentralized exchange where it belongs.
This bold move by #Ripple to make an FX market (and payment routing) On-chain will greatly benefit the market, making it more efficient, by aggregating liquidity, and access to the long tail of FX pairs.
Foreign exchange will be decentralized and federated on the #XRPL
