I am beginning to crave the brutalised revisions of days,
To be wrapped in blankets of chaos and spun through formless ideals,
Snatched away from the crusts and bored hungry mouths,
Weary from the aggressive nature of perfection.
#decemberfalls
I am beginning to mourn
For the death of my invincibility
The year is dying fast
Bleeding through
Loves wrapped presence
I shall not survive the loss
Despite being shown the sky
Sometimes beauty is wasted
Sometimes beauty is ugly
It is all a matter of acceptance
#decemberfalls
The seas part
To reveal the sun
It's been a million years
Since the land was cleansed
The ghost of a dove
Comes down from above
To rest its hollow wings
On the fossils of man
#decemberfalls
These troubled dreams
Which drown my heart
In which I cannot part the sea
Yet I see sails of hope
Swaying though to mock my will
What dire treatment night inflicts
Perhaps to reflect that of day
Where consciously I fail
To grip the wheel & voyage on
#decemberfalls #vss365
As lush berries glow
So to do lips
Yet words hang
A scream at midnight
An icicle rendered in sapphire
Too cold & hard
My fingers cling to the past
For the moment approaches
When the ice will drop
More then than the silence
Will come to shatter
#decemberfalls #BardBits
The language of secrets
Blooms lush against midnight
A sapphire before blind eyes
Those scenes once would whisper
Are memories I harvest
Too often to worship
I remember the flame
Though it were ever a ghost
Without the glow of her chest
#decemberfalls #BardBits #vsspoem
Again without wings I rise
Engorged with the darkness
Of this blackbird night
Drunkenly I sway
Through the cosmic garden
Collecting stars for her
Instead of roses
Morning will find her
Illuminated by gifts
Collected by my dreams.
#vss365 #decemberfalls #BardBits
This blackbird night
In which I dream of flight
My wings spread to new height
Uplifted by moonlight
No longer power needed for fight
The struggle gone for might
Come dawn the age old plight
Now so far from sight

Ending dream-time
Eve knows the last of Eden.
Planted with seeds of her sin.
Albeit weed or flower
It's grown wild.
She'll carry pain
Forever forward.
Within her womb
The worry,
Of fallen cherries
& Adam's apples.
Her fruit ripens.
Such is the sorrow of reality.
#DecemberFalls
A midnight dance, to a symphony of velvet blue
under watercolor skies
in a summertime dream
of me
loving you
#DecemberFalls
She walks every road
that opens at her feet
gathering stories
smoothing off her edges
on the sharpest curves
believing beyond
the tarmac and dirt track
beyond the turquoise sea
he waits for her.
