[Live] 🚧⚠️🎈 New updates on the future Up! attraction! ➡️ Pink decorative bands have been added to the entrance tower, along with a chandelier installed beneath the tower! ➡️ More colourful balloons are now waiting at the foot of the 2nd tower, ready to be installed inside its glass dome, matching the other tower! ➡️ The annex building has received its theming, with sloping cornices, a finishing coat & moulded details on the corner pilasters, matching the Art Nouveau style of the surrounding area! ➡️ At the centre of the site, workers are preparing for the arrival of the flying chairs ride structure at #DisneyAdventureWorld 📸 Full gallery of 14 photos available on our Facebook page #DLPWorks

⚠️Update: The explosion (see video) widely heard around 6:45 PM was a controlled detonation linked to a suspicious package. The area is now reopened to guests. Video sent to #DLPWorks on Facebook by Stephane Coulson.

[Live] ⚠️❌ South access to #DisneylandParis blocked for security reasons! ➡️ The southern access to the resort is currently blocked following the discovery of what appears to be several suspicious packages. ➡️ Military personnel under the Vigipirate plan, police officers, cast members & private security teams are on site. Minesweeper services are expected. ➡️ For now, Vapiano, Five Guys, the entrance & the Indigo car park are closed as a precaution. Reopening is expected in more than an hour (live photos + infos taken at 6:36pm).

[News] ❌⚠️🚧 Last day of operation before a long closure!! ➡️ As we previously revealed on #DLPWorks, a building permit has been granted for a complete refurbishment of the Plaza Gardens Restaurant building & its surrounding area. ➡️🏗️ Works are scheduled to begin tomorrow and will continue for several months, with the following expected scope: ➖ Restaurant exterior & interior refurbishment (including kitchen and delivery area), ➖ “Chariots Gourmands” demolition & construction of a new facility, ➖ Removal of the Cast Member prefab unit and creation of a new dedicated facility, ➖ Demolition of the cashroom prefab & construction of a repositioned structure.

[Analysis] 🚧 Boardwalk Candy Palace: Extension now complete!! ➡️ As previously shared by #DLPWorks, a building permit was filed in 2023 to increase storage capacity and improve cast break room facilities. ➡️ In order to avoid disruption on the reopening of the "Boardwalk M&M’s Store", works only began in September 2025, with walls, scaffolding + tarps installed: all of which have now been fully removed. ➡️ The extension has been completed and themed to remain invisible to guests : ➖ However, we hope additional finishing touches will be applied to the exterior wall (such as simulated brickwork) to better visually match the existing structure. ➖ The rooftop railings are identical to those of the original building. #DisneylandParis

[Live] 🚧📡 A 4th Hollywood Tower Hotel balcony has been modified! ➡️ As previously shared by #DLPWorks, these elements hide telecom antennas while preserving the hotel’s Art Deco architectural style. ➡️ The 4th balcony is now in place, completing the replacements on this side of the tower. On the other part, no changes have been made yet, but according to the permit, the balconies should also be modified. ➡️ This upgrade is part of a coordinated project with #WaltDisneyImagineering, and Bouygues Telecom whih is leading the technical aspects. #DisneylandParis

[Aerial Views] ✈️🦁 #DisneyAdventureWorld Lion King Land Construction Update – October 17, 2025 ➡️ Captured from a video taken by #DLPWorks (full video available via the TikTok link below), this aerial view shows the current stage of construction at the future Lion King Land just behind World of Frozen. ➡️ The project has now entered what looks like, the substructure phase, following the completion of "foundational" works: ➖ Installation of sanitation and drainage systems (for both wastewater and stormwater). ➖ Progressive setup of underground utilities that will later supply the show building and backstage areas. ➖ Implementation of ground waterproofing and drainage layers, protecting the structure’s base from humidity. ➡️ This crucial phase prepares the site for the upcoming ground floor slab (plancher bas), which will mark the transition toward vertical construction. ➡️ Another step forward for one of #DisneylandParis’ most ambitious additions, the future World of Lion King! 🔗 Full aerial video available here : https://t.co/DMjOf0SNoh

[Live] 🚧 The full structure of the future #WDS2 merchandise kiosk on World Premiere Plaza are now fully erected! ➡️ The metallic framework gives a clear preview of the kiosks final shape, as previously shown in the 3D renderings shared by #DLPWorks. ➡️ These future permanent kiosks will include an indoor sales space accessible via automatic doors, offering an enhanced retail experience for guests between Studio Theater and Animation Celebration. ➡️ The kiosks exterior will eventually be themed to blend with the surrounding Hollywood aesthetic.

[Focus] 🚧 More details shared for #WDS2 World Premiere! ➡️ Still under construction, but last Saturday, one of our #DLPWorks reporters had the rare opportunity to walk the World Premiere site alongside Imagineers Andy Martin @Jolber & Bowie Faas, the project leads! ⚠️ Spoilers ahead : ➡️ Information about lighting system : ➖ These are not neon lights, but fully programmable intelligent lighting systems, Imagineers said “we can make them do whatever we want.” From subtle ambiance to dynamic storytelling, the flexibility is next-level. ➡️ Facade : ➖ The four large window frames on the façade? They currently hide surprises that will only be unveiled during opening on May 15. ➖ The Imagineering team cited El Capitan Theatre as a reference! From the architecture to the tiniest scrollwork, every element is rich in cinematic storytelling. ➡️ Honest review : ➖ According to us, this is by far the most exciting project of the entire transformation. Not just for the beauty or size of the changes, but because of the phenomenal attention to detail and the depth of its narrative design. A true celebration of why we're #DisneylandParis fans, sincerely!
