If I may add, Over a decade ago, I, along with journalists from Europe and Asia, visited German state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany. We also went to family owned factories doing billions of Euros annual business. Most of these were family-owned SMEs. They were competitive and making profits. Resolution of Trade disputes, which you also identified as a hurdle, was not an issue because of strong and independent judicial system. Above all, the economic environment was competitive and cost of doing business was/is not high.

En septiembre de 2021, una investigación independiente encargada por el @BancoMundial acusó a #Georgieva de haber ejercido presiones indebidas a favor de China en 2017, cuando era Directora General de esa institución. ¿Se entiende?
Según la acusación, manipuló datos estadísticos para elevar a China del puesto 85 al 78 en el ranking global de clima de negocios. El objetivo habría sido mantener contento al régimen de Pekín en un momento clave en el que el Banco Mundial buscaba un aumento masivo de capital, donde China era un aportante crucial.

Mientras que importantes sectores políticos de Estados Unidos presionaron fuertemente para destituirla del FMI tras conocerse el informe, China defendió fervientemente su continuidad. El gobierno chino y diversos economistas aliados denunciaron que la acusación era parte de una "histeria antichina" promovida por Washington para frenar la creciente influencia de Pekín en los organismos multilaterales de crédito.
Para China 🇨🇳 @KGeorgieva representa un liderazgo en el @IMFNews (FMI cuenta en inglés), que busca el diálogo y que no actúa como un enemigo jurado de Pekín.

Aunque ambas partes mantienen desde el inicio de la gestión libertaria una muy buena relación, que se tradujo en apoyos financieros concretos, el Gobierno no tiene previsto aceptar las recomendaciones del Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI) vinculadas al impuesto a las Ganancias y el Monotributo, por lo que se mantendrán sin modificaciones.
La sugerencia en cuestión se realizó hace algunos días, en el marco de la revisión del “Artículo IV”, un informe de vigilancia económica que el organismo de crédito publicó tras la segunda revisión del acuerdo con la Argentina.
Puntualmente, la entidad dirigida por Kristalina Georgieva pidió una serie de medidas tendientes a ampliar la base de recaudación del país, simplificar el sistema tributario y avanzar hacia una reforma fiscal integral de mediano plazo, además de algunas políticas para mejorar la lucha contra la corrupción.
