@ChromosomesNews Our next steps are securing premises so that we can extend our service offer. We plan to extend our services to the disabled community at large, including more support for disabled adults, more activities for kids, and more support for the vulnerable in our area #DShour
@ChromosomesNews @andpsblyth We can signpost, and we will offer in house what we can. An example, if a family came to us fleeing DV with SEND child, we would signpost appropriately, as well as help them access things like furniture, clothing etc. We can help with benefits and advocacy too. #DShour
@ChromosomesNews Our SEND/DS community members get access to a private FB group where they can access the wisdom of the community. Membership is free subject to sign up, and it means the whole family can access our help if they need it, even extended family. #dshour
