Marco Rubio was outspent by Val Demings by $30M and won by a similar margin, which is more impressive given the fact that national races are more polarizing. Republicans won the Generic Congressional Ballot in the state by 21, even when accounting for uncontested races. Every other statewide race saw Republicans outperforming Ron DeSantis. Does that mean we instantly make Ashley Moody President? Of course not. In short, there is zero correlation from 2022 to how RDS would do on the national stage.
