Spent an hour today poking at deep-graph, a little CLI Eshwar Prasad put up this week. The pitch is simple: before you change a file, ask what breaks. Most tools answer that by grepping imports. This one actually spins up the TypeScript compiler and asks the type checker, so aliases, barrel files and cross-file calls resolve the way "go to definition" does instead of the way a regex guesses. I ran it on tmy Storyforge Kids repo. Pointed it at our supabase client and it came back in about 2.5 seconds with 30 things that depend on it, down to which function calls which. I checked a handful by hand and they were all right. There's an MCP server too, so Claude Code can ask "what's the blast radius here" before it edits. That's the part I'm actually keeping. I dropped a .mcp.json into the repo and I'm going to make the agent run it before touching anything shared. Our types.ts is imported by 28 files and I'd rather know that before a refactor than after. Couple of rough edges since it's a 0.1: TypeScript only for now. But if you're letting an AI review or edit your code, this is the context a diff doesn't have. Worth a look.
