Hon.@narendramodi ji UNTIL #Design_Flaw of #Rail_Track is rectified, derailments DO happen, even after excellent execution of maintenance schedules for rail-tracks I reiterate: One of the biggest mistakes in your entire political career is "ignoring my Rail-Track research" 🙏

@marinebharat PSC sleepers over the whole network, 52/60 KG rail section, almost every joint welded, LWR(Long welded Rails) over most of the network, mechanised maintenance, regular inspection runs by RDSO and the Engineering dept. Is all this available over the African railways?

Hon.@narendramodi ji, Eastern & Western Dedicated Freight Corridors' rail-tracks have exactly the same #Design_Flaw similar to that of Indian Railways. More than #200 _kmph speed for passenger trains is possible upon Freight Corridors' rail-tracks, if #Design_Flaw is rectified.

Another urgently needed change in Rly policy that GOI should order Eastern & Western DFCs should be reconfigured to carry passenger trains also. With this traffic flow shall be as under: 1. Fast mail/express trains at speed up to 250 kmph & highspeed freight at 100-160 kmph..

Hon.@narendramodi ji Indian Railways HAS BEEN ATTEMPTING to raise #Train_Speed to #160_kmph since 50 years. #Rail_Track of Indian Railways has #Design_Flaw, and hence trains cannot be speeded up. #Sabka_Prayas is just a slogan to you, but aren't interested in practical reality

IR planned on raising speeds of the Rajdhanis to 160 kmph soon after launch. In Sep 1971, a trial run achieved 162 kmph on Delhi - Kanpur route. As of now, 160 kmph upgrades on Mumbai-Delhi and Delhi-Howrah routes are expected to be complete in 2024.
