If one has to rely on Legal Aid, one is subject to the disclosure lacunae of both the police and CPS and standing before the river of lies that will be forthcoming from these in the courts. One is standing on UK CJS trap door, without a functioning defense apparatus! #DfIDgate
The sad truth is that legal aid no longer provides for an adequate defence, let alone one which is comparable to a privately funded defence.
