The #DisabilityDiscriminationAct1995 is outdated, so any Disability not covered by it (Autism etc) is not protected by the law. Help change that, sign the petition. It is dangerously out of date & GB has the modern #EqualityAct. We dont. https://t.co/JBf658off1

Confidence will 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 be restored. @PoliceServiceNI were going to force disabled face mask exempt to prove their disability or fine them or possibly arrest them for not doing so, all while @EqualityCommNI & @NIHRC were clapping like brainwashed seals in the background.

Sadly, our legal system doesn't acknowledge that mental impact or mental illness in general. Northern Ireland has the outdated #DisabilityDiscriminationAct1995 which keep us less protected & less equal in law, to GB. #Lyra

He is lucky he lives in GB. If he stayed in Northern Ireland, he would be less equal & less protected in law, as would his children that share his diagnosis. The #DisabilityDiscriminationAct1995 applies in NI but GB has DDA 2005. @Economy_NI will openly ignore ur disability.

#Epilepsy It is about time that a neurological illness is made illegal to be discriminated against. Whilst it is, it effects our schooling, our ability to be able to obtain jobs - we are discriminated against. #DisabilityDiscriminationAct1995 #Education #HouseofCommons
