It’s 2025….. and we STILL haven’t gotten any better since 2016.

it couldn’t be more obvious why at this point. the abrupt cancellation is even more jarring when considering the fact they’ve never officially cancelled any other star wars show (even tbobf is still open ended)
“We have to be racist or else racists will get mad” — entertainment companies 🥴🥴🥴
Part 1: I don’t understand when people say something is too 'woke' or that there’s forced inclusion. What planet are they living on? This world isn’t just made up of white men or women.

Do your JOB! @Disney @starwars
@starwars @Lucasfilm @Disney basically @Variety just confirmed that studios like @Lucasfilm @Disney are cowards
#TheAcolyte #ShameOnLucasFilm
The Acolyte cast did this beautiful interview about the beauty of diversity in Star Wars and they reached sooooo many people with this kind of intention. And Disney said, “no”. Like wtf!! #SaveTheAcolyte #ShameOnLucasfilm #DisappointedinDisney
"a show kinda has to have viewers to be renewed" and you kinda have to watch a show before you give it a 1 star rating but guess what #AcolyteS2 #DisappointedinDisney #SaveTheAcolyte
#RenewTheAcolyte #AcolyteS2 A second season of #TheAcolyte is deserved!! #DisappointedinDisney for canceling a show so early without giving it a chance to gain its footing! The bigots/haters can try but they can't drown out the support of actual fans who care! #SaveTheAcolyte
@anakinskywxlkxr say it louder for the people in the back
The way Disney execs are not seeing the pearly gates of heaven at this point… Nothing but solidarity for the former Pixar employees who had the courage to speak up about these egregious working conditions.
#StandWithAnimation #DisappointedInDisney
10 former Pixar employees have spoken out about the working conditions for ‘INSIDE OUT 2’:
• Largest crunch in Pixar history with animators having to work 7 days a week
• Bottlenecks with leadership, mismanagement & story issues led to a rush in last few months of production
• Some do give Pixar credit for paying overtime, offering time off & strong health support during the crunch
• People laid off at Pixar before ‘Inside Out 2’ released were never able to qualify for their bonus which many animators depend on as Pixar isn’t unionized

i see blaming everything on gays or diversity isn’t only a tired bigot narrative on twitter & YT thing..

Certifiable baddie 💖 Y’all really fumbled Amandla terribly, @Disney/@Lucasfilm/@starwars.
Sign share the #SaveTheAcolyte petition so we can see Amandla grace our screens again as Osha/Mae: https://t.co/EWRq9oEuFf

Obsessed with this look 🔥
The amount of people missing the point. "We don't search for it, it comes up on the tl!" And? It doesn't matter how people find the tweets, no one should be getting harassed and called slurs for expressing their love of a show.

Renew the Acolyte
see how they mention the acolyte out of nowhere? @Lucasfilm @Disney allowed this when they kowtowed to bigots. and now it’s affecting @DisneyPlus’ other show 🤷♀️ @starwars

“@Disney’s silence became harder to ignore. How will this affect the franchise’s decision-making moving forward? It’s hard to say.” @Lucasfilm @starwars @DisneyPlus #AcolyteS2 #SaveTheAcolyte https://t.co/NCQzYN1mZl
This series is a masterpiece in every sense!! I love it so much! 🥹💗I need SEASON TWO!! @Disney @DisneyPlus @starwars #DisappointedinDisney #ShameOnLucasFilm How dare you cancel it?!! #AcolyteS2
Just again, the level of intentionality, the skill of both their acting. Like people actually thought Amandla had a twin.
I am so distraught that we are getting passed up bc of stupid wierdos on the internet ‼️‼️
