90 years ago, on February 22nd, Jesus appeared to St. Faustina & asked her to paint an Image of how she saw Him, with the signature, "Jesus, I trust in You." That was the beginning of how we came to have the miraculous & very powerful #DivineMercyImage today! Thank You, Lord!

There are so many graces available to those who venerate & honor the #DivineMercyImage, not only on #DivineMercySunday, but every day! "I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the #FountainOfMercy. That vessel is this image..." (Diary, 327)

#StFaustina had visions much of her life. Most profound was that of #JESUS with one hand raised in #Blessing and with two fingers of His other hand resting on #HisHeart She said #Jesus asked her to have the #Image painted & to include a prayer that said, "Jesus, I trust in You."

Today is the 87th anniversary of the revelation of the image of Merciful Jesus to St.Faustina Kowalska. It took place in the convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Płock, in 1931. (Below the image of Merciful Jesus in the chapel of Łagiewniki).
