I have no idea why anyone thinks it to be amusing to using derogatory racist terms. When I see the ‘N’ word or other hateful words, I block the user. #racism #doubletreeportland #HumanRights
Mr. Massey pointed out that he was a guest at the hotel.
The Security Guard Responded, “Not anymore” my question, Does the guard still have a job? Answer:NotAnymore” @TalbertSwan #DoubleTreePortland
@JosephNSanberg @rdreynola It should also be a criminal offense for police to follow through on bogus "being black" 911 calls such as the #DoubleTreePortland fiasco where the hotel guest was kicked out for making a phone call in hotel lobby.

#DoubleTreePortland I will cancel my stay in February due to black people are not welcome there.
@doubletreepdx I appreciate your response but I will not be staying at any @doubletree or @HiltonHotels in the near future. This starts with training and management. #Airbnb #Resist #DoubleTreePortland #DoubleTree #protest #racism
@tedwheeler I think we all should email the good mayor of Portland and make sure he understands we need an investigation into the handling of this #racists situation by the Portland Police department: [email protected] #massey #DoubleTreePortland

@doubletree As A @HiltonHonors member I was appalled to read about the incident that happened at #DoubleTreePortland and until the gentleman who was wrongly dealt with not only receives an online apology but also a very public one, I will #BoycottDoubletree and all @HiltonHotels
@doubletreepdx So many opportunities to stop Earl & apologize to Jermaine Massey
1. After he told you he was a guest there
2. After he showed you his key card
3. After you visually saw his belongings in your hotel
WHY DID IT NOT END THERE?
Why did he have to be evicted?
#DoubleTreePortland
@doubletreepdx It should never have happened to Mr. #Massey ...do you have #employeetraining in place that prohibits #racialprofiling &
#discrinination? You don't need #diversityexperts you need #CommonSense ..Your callous attitude will cost you #NoJusticeNoPeace #Boycott #DoubleTreePortland
@TomthunkitsMind I'm glad that the two staff were fired, but this should never have happened. I would have 'forgot' too, not wanting that jerk of a #DoubleTreePortland security guard #Earl to know which suite I was in.
How will @doubletree escape this PR nightmare? How much will @HiltonHotels & #DoubleTreePortland pay for booting a guest who was hanging out inside the hotel at which he was paying to stay? I stay at many hotels each year, and my brain does not comprehend this incident.
