Actually, the opposite is true. Steve Hilton co-founded & ran Crowdpac as non-partisan, but his strong pro-Trump stance on Fox News sparked massive backlash from the platform's progressive-leaning users. They boycotted, called to #DumpCrowdPac, & accused it of indirectly funding 'Trumpism.' Result? Hilton resigned as CEO in May 2018, (he was pushed out because he supported Trump). Then Crowdpac suspended fundraising for most Republican candidates, explicitly rejecting 'Trumpism' to align with its community. The platform only shifted left after Steve left.
