Actually, the opposite is true. Steve Hilton co-founded & ran Crowdpac as non-partisan, but his strong pro-Trump stance on Fox News sparked massive backlash from the platform's progressive-leaning users. They boycotted, called to #DumpCrowdPac, & accused it of indirectly funding 'Trumpism.' Result? Hilton resigned as CEO in May 2018, (he was pushed out because he supported Trump). Then Crowdpac suspended fundraising for most Republican candidates, explicitly rejecting 'Trumpism' to align with its community. The platform only shifted left after Steve left. So no, Hilton didn't enable BLM fundraising (which happened in Black Lives Matter protests which occurred in summer 2020) well after Steve left in 2018. #Factsoverspin Sources: Mediaite (2018), WaPo (2018), Wikipedia summary.

@Crowdpac Are you putting money into the pockets of a pro-Trump Fox News host? You are if you support Democratic candidates through @Crowdpac. Crowdpac CEO @SteveHiltonx regularly attacks Democrats and progressives during his Fox News appearances. https://t.co/e8NRlw2sDd… #DumpCrowdpac

@peters4congress, it looks like you have ActBlue set up for fundraising also--please #DumpCrowdpac so that your campaign is not supporting Steve Hilton as he attacks progressive values on Fox News! https://t.co/wfKMjCvnZQ
