.@ecb policy good for shares, bad for #DutchPensions. Pension Obligations have to be discounted at RISKFREE Interestrate, which is extremely low due to ECB purchaseprogram. Notwithstanding superb return on investment: average 8% during 30 yrs. #CrazyDutch- #CrazyECB. @KlaasKnot

Just to put things into perspective: Dax has at ATH, but if you put index in relation to #ECB's balance sheet, it trading at the same level as in 2011 or in 2008/2009, so equities have traded sideways since 2008, counteracting ECB balance sheet expansion & fiat money debasement.

At my anniversary. A sorrow day for #DUTCHPENSIONS. The pensionobligations are calculated at a discount rate of nearly zero. The lowest internationally. While average return over 30 years is 7%. Heavy consequence: no indexation since 10 years and ongoing reduction of pensions.

80% probability of a 25bps Fed rate cut and 20% of a 50 bps cut on July 31st. A completely unnecessary rate cut designed to inflate the financial asset bubble, with no fundamental justification (2% core CPI, 3.6% unemployment, 2.5% est GDP growth)
