DBE_SA: Ministers Motshekga and Zulu have signed a pledge committing their respective ministries to the achievement of quality outcomes in the #ECDFunction.
It's now official, #ECDFunction has shifted to the DBE.

The symbolic hand-over of the #ECDFunction has been done. All administrative processes and milestones have already been met to ensure a seamless transition.
From today the DBE is responsible to support, subsidise and regulate ECD programmes.
The Director-General for the DBE, Mr Mathanzima Mweli, says the DBE welcomes the shift of #ECDFunction as it fills in the missing piece of the education and development jigsaw puzzle.
