🇪🇺 Today, I was elected President of the European Federation of Mixed Martial Arts. I would like to thank all our member federations for their trust and support. Having been involved in combat sports from a young age, I understand the discipline, commitment and opportunities they can provide. This makes the responsibility of helping to lead the development of MMA in Europe especially meaningful to me. Our mission is clear: to unite and strengthen MMA across Europe while working tirelessly towards one goal - MMA becoming an Olympic sport. Following the election, we held the first meeting of EFMMA with representatives from 🇫🇷 France, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇭🇺 Hungary, 🇸🇰 Slovakia, 🇹🇷 Türkiye, 🇳🇱 the Netherlands and 🇺🇦 Ukraine. This was an important step in defining our priorities and beginning our work together. We have already secured EUR 1 million in sponsorship dedicated to the development of MMA in Europe. These resources will be invested in strengthening our member federations, organizing premier European championships, supporting athletes and officials, and building one of the strongest continental MMA organisations in the world. I am also pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Stafford as CEO of EFMMA. We warmly welcome national MMA federations from across Europe to join our movement and help shape the future of the sport together.
